Jakarta, Komite.id – One Data Indonesia 2022 Websummit as one of the big ABDI events held in the middle of the year. With the big theme ‘One Data & Digital Public Services For Golden Indonesia 2045’ the event was held for two days, 05 & 07 July 2022 online.

On the theme of the second day of this event, Informatica became one of the speakers in the Panel Discussion session with Xeratic, Aksata and BPS by presenting material that discussed ‘Metadata Automation for One Government Data‘.

Informatica implements business processes that focus on Data Management for more than 25 years. In this regard, Informatica uses multiple cloud ecosystems to introduce AI-powered data management solutions. As is well known, the resource constraint is that the inventory of data assets usually takes around 3-4 months each time and it quickly wears out.

Moreover, in Data Practice More than 50% of APAC Organizations do not have standard data management capabilities. “We need customers who support multiple types of ecosystems, classic ecosystems, on-premises data warehouses that are more than cloud data ecosystems. So there are many combinations of them,” said Jon Teo, when delivering material in the One Data Indonesia 2022 Websummit with the sub-theme ‘Interoperability, Collaborative & Trusted e-Government Public Services (SPBE)‘ on the second day, Thursday (07/07).

Jon Teo said, that today, data leaders and analytics leaders in all different areas certainly have concerns and problems on data standardization and data management initiatives. “So data management capabilities can be in many areas, including metadata definition, data quality management, data mastery in all kinds of areas in difficult situations and large situations as we see here even under SDI,” he continued.

The reason is, two thirds of them are already dealing with multiple cloud ecosystems due to different needs and different regions. “General data challenges are very relevant and related to the discussion on this websummit, of course also related to the principles of the four data guardians at different levels, including one data standard, one standard metadata, interoperability and data reference,” added Data Governance & Privacy Domain Expert, APJ Informatica.

Informatica Offers Essential Data Capabilities

The success of any government agency depends on its ability to manage today’s deluge of data. Whether overseeing national security, improving critical emergency response services, or gaining insight into demographic data to provide services that reflect the needs of their constituencies, the ability for agencies to leverage data as an asset is critical. Citizens need a single place they can go to see all the public services they are entitled to and what has been provided for them. They also need assurance the information they share is secure.
